Ingredients

Chocolate Cookie

  • 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour

  • 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder

  • Pinch of Baking Soda

  • Pinch of Salt

  • 2oz Butter

  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 3/4 Egg

  • 2oz Chocolate Chips, Chopped

Caramel Sauce

  • 5oz Butter

  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream

  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

  • Pinch of Salt

 

 

Garnish

  • Berries

  • Whipped Topping

  • Microgreens

How To Prepare

Chocolate Cookie

  1. Using the double boiler method, melt the chocolate, brown sugar, and butter. Then stir until it is completely melted.

  2. In a mixer, mix the chocolate mixture with the egg until well blended

  3. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda, then gradually add chocolate mixture to the bowl and mix until the dough forms into a ball

  4. Roll out the dough until it is 1/4-inch-thick and freeze on a sheet of parchment paper for 15 minutes

  5. Now that the dough is firm, remove the parchment paper, and cut out cookies with a heart shape cookie cutter

  6. Place the heart shaped cookies on a baking sheet pan, 1 inch apart. Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes.

 

Caramel Sauce

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan, add the brown sugar and whisk until fully combined

  2. Add cream and bring to a boil. Once at a boiling point, reduce the heat to a low simmer and cook for another 7 minutes

  3. In the final stage, add salt and vanilla and stir

  4. Finally, organize plate and enjoy!
