Ingredients
Pasta Primavera

2 Cup Penne

1/2 Carrot, Peeled & Julienned

1/2 Red Bell Pepper, Julienned

1/2 Green Bell Pepper, Julienned

1/2 Red Onion, Julienned

1 Cup Broccoli Florets

1/2 Cup Mushrooms, Sliced
-
3 Slices of Bacon, Diced
Seasoning
-
2 Shots, White Wine
-
1 Tbsp Honey
-
2 Tbsp Roasted Garlic and Pepper
-
1 Tbsp Parsley
-
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
-
1 Tbsp Butter
-
Salt & Pepper
How To Prepare

Cook the bacon in a frying pan. Let it cool before dicing it up

In a pot, add water, salt, and oil and bring to a boil. Blanch broccoli for 2 minutes. Do not dump water!

Add the penne into the water and boil for 8 minutes or to a desired bite texture

While your pasta is cooking, set a pan on high heat - add your carrots, butter and brown sugar. Cook for 2 minutes

Remove the carrots, and clean the pan. Add oil and bring to high heat, then add onions and mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes.

Add broccoli, bell peppers, white wine and cook for another 2 minutes.

Add carrots and finish by seasoning all vegetables with 1 tbsp roasted garlic and pepper seasoning. Add salt and pepper to taste

Strain your pasta into a bowl, then add vegetables to mix.

Add 3 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp parsley, roasted garlic and pepper. Mix these ingredients together again.

Plate and top with bacon.
