1 Cup All Purpose Flour

1/3 Cup Butter

1 tbsp Sugar

1/2 tsp Baking Powder

3-5 tbsp Cool Water

Pinch of Salt

8" Pie Plate
Filling

1/2 Cup Sugar
-
3/4 Cup Corn Syrup

1/4 Cup Butter
-
2 Eggs, Beaten

1 Cup Pecan
-
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

Pinch of Salt
How to Prepare

Mix butter, flour, and baking powder with a fork in a mixing bowl until pea size
-
Dissolve sugar and salt in cold water - add both all at once - and mix just enough to combine

Knead the dough until it is smooth

Roll dough out and line the pie plate.

Combine the butter, sugar and corn syrup together in a pot and gently heat it up to melt the ingredients together.

Remove from heat and slowly add the beaten egg, vanilla extract and salt.

Place pecans in the bottom of the pie shell and pour the filling over the pecans to fill the pie shell

Bake at 400F for 50 minutes or until the filling is set
